Fees & Eligibility

Affiliation is open to any non-profit film society, film club or film group operating in Australia. See our 60 Questions guide for the full criteria.
How the Federation is Run
The Federation was established in 1947 (once known as the Federation of NSW and Associated Film Societies Inc.) and is an incorporated association governed by an Executive of seven: a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and three ordinary members. The Executive is elected each year at the Annual General Meeting, to which every member society can send two delegates, and meets by teleconference whenever there’s a need.
