Visitor numbers to the AFSF website increased for the sixth year running, with the Australian film distributor information remaining the most popular and useful content on the site.
- The Federation was progressing toward being the largest such federation in Australia, with members now in every state except Western Australia.
- The Treasurer reported a significant one-off payment to Code Red Solutions for the invoicing, membership database and email software upgrade delivered over the preceding couple of years.
- The Committee had completed a project linking the AFSF website to every consenting member society’s own website, to improve their SEO.
- The Executive agreed to review which societies had given permission to be publicised, to ensure all relevant links (websites, Facebook pages) were live.
- Several organisations had asked for member contact details to send marketing emails — these requests were declined as conflicting with the Federation’s Privacy Policy, and the meeting agreed no such details would be passed to third parties.
Guest Speaker
