Sandgate Cinema Club, meeting at the Seagate Town Hall.

The Sandgate Cinema Club, meeting at the Seagate Town Hall.

Founded by some of Sandgate’s leading authorities on pop-culture (proof they have too much free time), the Sandgate Cinemas Club is now a reality. Run as a never-for profit venture, it operates on a yearly membership basis, offering exclusive monthly screenings for members, memorabilia, trivia and so much more.

Rocky Flix

Rockhampton’s Independent Film Club screening at the Walter Reid Cultural Centre, cnr East & Derby Streets.
Rocky Flix is an independent film club run by volunteers to offer the Rockhampton regional community the opportunity to experience films, usually only screened in the capital cities and at film festivals, within a few months of their release. Films are usually screened on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.
The big screen at the Walter Reid Cultural Centre Auditorium and the discussions after the films make for a great evening’s entertainment for lovers of fine film.
