We will be screening a film every Wednesday night at The Royal Exchange Theatre, 32-34 Bolton Street, Newcastle at 7.30pm for an 8:00pm start from May through to October 31 2012, we feel it’s a great way to spend your Wednesday night doing something a little different.

Starry Nights is a group of like-minded movie lovers who enjoy alternative film selections. Each term brings movies ranging from documentaries, international (non-mainstream) film to alternative films from mainstream film studios. We have over 500 members

The Parkes Film Society is a Not for Profit Organisation and has the following aims.
The Parkes Film Society is organised by a committee elected by the members annually. Currently the founding committee has been established to realise the Parkes Film Society. The committee members are all local residents.
Participation in the committee and attendance at society screenings is open to all residents of Parkes Shire through a low cost membership fee. The membership fee covers screening rights for the film and associated costs of hall hire. Membership is available in 3 month, 6 month or annual blocks. Members can suggest films they want to see to the programming sub committee. Films chosen can be from any era in the history of cinema providing the Australian non theatrical screening rights are available.
The benefits will be to provide cinematic and cultural experience for the residents of Parkes as there are no longer any cinemas in operation in Parkes or Forbes. The film society does not aim to compete with cinemas and its purpose is not to screen latest releases, rather it is to foster an appreciation of film as an art form within the community.
The NWTC shows films on the last Sunday of every month. in a beautifully refurbished Roxy theatre in Bingara NSW in the New England Tablelands.
NWTC President John Wearne says that the program has something for everyone.
“We have attempted, and I think succeeded, in having a wonderful balance of films – some old, some new and covering a wide variety of categories. We probably have an increase in recent movies this time, with a good dash of old, much loved classics”,

The Moruya Community Film Group screens at The Performing Arts Centre, St Marys Primary School, Queen St, Moruya.
We run, on average, at least one screening per month on Saturday nights, and often have additional special members events.
New members are always welcome. Membership can be for 6 or 12 month period commencing from the month of payment. Membership is $35 for 6 months or $60 for 12 months.

Marrickville West’s Film Club shows a movie each Term in the school hall. The aim is to provide a fun social evening and provide some alternate movie viewing for both children and adults alike.
The movie begins at 6:30pm and popcorn and drinks are for sale through the canteen. Kids can come along in their pyjamas. Bring a cushion and blanket to get cozy.
The Marrickville Movie Club is a new addition to Marrickville Council’s Seniors Activities. The Marrickville Movie Club meets at the Marickville Library on the first Tuesday of the month from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The aim of the IFS is not just about seeing films but also about the pleasure of seeing independent and arthouse films on the big screen and in the company of others.
Our members have the opportunity and the pleasure of catching art house films right here in Wollongong. We hope that the Illawarra Film Society (IFS) will become a focal point for the social and cultural life here.
We show a range of film genres to suit everyone’s cinematic taste – from independent, foreign, arthouse to home-grown films, as well as a selection of classics.
Membership is limited but we strive to keep annual subscriptions to no more than $100
